Three days at the river delta

I went to the river delta with a pocket camera and no particular plan. Halfway through I switched to black and white, which suited the grey but generous weather much better.

I sat on a bench for almost an hour, just watching bicycles change as the clouds moved. By noon the crowds arrived, so I walked further along the path, where stone walls were still undisturbed.

Locals barely noticed me. A man feeding gulls told me the place looks completely different in spring. I tried a few long exposures, but the wind had other ideas. The handheld shots turned out better anyway.
