Three days at a hillside vineyard
The forecast promised rain, so naturally I headed to a hillside vineyard. Most of the morning went into watching fog; I took fewer frames than usual, but each one felt deliberate.
Working with a phone and nothing else forces you to slow down. You think twice before pressing the shutter, and that changes the pictures. Locals barely noticed me. A man feeding gulls told me the place looks completely different in spring.
I kept a paper notebook this time, writing down the time and the light for every roll. Shooting with a phone and nothing else meant I had to get closer than I am used to, which was uncomfortable at first.
Nothing dramatic happened, and that was exactly the point.
