Harbour cranes at the old harbour
It has been a while since my last trip to the old harbour. The light was still, and harbour cranes kept pulling my attention away from anything I had planned to photograph.
Shooting with an old film camera meant I had to get closer than I am used to, which was uncomfortable at first. Most of the morning went into watching harbour cranes; I took fewer frames than usual, but each one felt deliberate.
I kept a paper notebook this time, writing down the time and the light for every roll. The café near the old harbour still serves the same cinnamon buns; I had two and pretended it was research.
The full set of photos will go into the archive once the film comes back from the lab.
