A short walk: a frozen bay
The forecast promised rain, so naturally I headed to a frozen bay. By noon the crowds arrived, so I walked further along the path, where fog were still undisturbed.
The café near a frozen bay still serves the same cinnamon buns; I had two and pretended it was research. I sat on a bench for almost an hour, just watching early light change as the clouds moved.
I kept a paper notebook this time, writing down the time and the light for every roll. On the way home the train was nearly empty, so I reviewed the day's notes and planned the next trip.
It was a good reminder that interesting pictures rarely require going far.
