Three days at a village bakery
The alarm went off before dawn, and by six I was already at a village bakery. Locals barely noticed me. A man feeding gulls told me the place looks completely different in spring.
I underexposed most of the frames on purpose, to keep the mood still rather than bright. Walking back, I found a side street I had never noticed before, lined with tiny workshops.
I sat on a bench for almost an hour, just watching snow tracks change as the clouds moved. There is something calming about returning to the same spot and noticing small changes since the last visit.
By noon the crowds arrived, so I walked further along the path, where reflections were still undisturbed. The light was still, and reflections kept pulling my attention away from anything I had planned to photograph.
The full set of photos will go into the archive once the film comes back from the lab.
