Three days at a frozen bay
It has been a while since my last trip to a frozen bay. I tried a few long exposures, but the wind had other ideas. The handheld shots turned out better anyway.
Halfway through I switched to black and white, which suited the cold and clear weather much better. Locals barely noticed me. A man feeding gulls told me the place looks completely different in spring.
The café near a frozen bay still serves the same cinnamon buns; I had two and pretended it was research. By noon the crowds arrived, so I walked further along the path, where fog were still undisturbed.
I kept a paper notebook this time, writing down the time and the light for every roll. The light was cold and clear, and fog kept pulling my attention away from anything I had planned to photograph.
The full set of photos will go into the archive once the film comes back from the lab.
