A short walk: the salt marshes
I went to the salt marshes with a 50mm lens and no particular plan. A light drizzle started around ten. I sheltered under a bus stop roof and photographed people hurrying past.
I tried a few long exposures, but the wind had other ideas. The handheld shots turned out better anyway. I sat on a bench for almost an hour, just watching harbour cranes change as the clouds moved.
I underexposed most of the frames on purpose, to keep the mood soft rather than bright. Most of the morning went into watching morning markets; I took fewer frames than usual, but each one felt deliberate.
The full set of photos will go into the archive once the film comes back from the lab.
